ReyLink privacy
This text describes what the app does today.
1What is fetched
When you enter a link, the ReyLink server opens that address to read the file type, the title and the available formats, then fetches the file for you.
Internal and private network addresses are blocked and are never fetched. For some sites that are hard to reach from Iran, the request may go through a relay server.
2What is stored
For each request we store the source link, the request type, the file name and size, the status, the time and your account id. A video thumbnail is stored too when there is one.
A ready file is deleted automatically one hour after it is ready. Its record, meaning the title, the source link and the details, stays in your archive until you clear your history.
3Account and sign-in
You sign in with your ReyDen account and ReyLink never sees your password. A few essential cookies keep your session. The language cookie (rf_lang) only remembers your language choice.
ReyLink works once an admin has approved your account. Admins can see the status of requests.
4Send to ReyUpload and email
These happen only if you turn them on in your ReyDen account settings: sending a ready file to ReyUpload, or an email when a file is ready. Your email address is kept for that email.
5Logs
The server logs errors and request counts for troubleshooting and abuse prevention. File contents are not in those logs.
6Clearing your data
You can clear your history from the ReyDen account center. To remove your account or ask anything else, use the ReyDen contact page.
